Our Breathe Life Tincture combines the powerful herbs of Mullein leaf, Peppermint leaf, Licorice root, and Marshmallow root. The perfect combination to open up the lungs, clear the respiratory tract of mucus, decrease inflammation, and bring lubrication to the body to soothe.

🌿Mullein Leaf and flowers are classified in traditional herbal literature as expectorants (promotes the discharge of mucus) and demulcents (soothes irritated mucous membranes). Historically, mullein has been used by herbalists as a remedy for the respiratory tract, particularly in cases of irritating coughs with bronchial congestion. Some herbal texts extend the therapeutic use to pneumonia and asthma.
🌿Peppermint leaf contains an ingredient called menthol which works as a decongestant, shrinking swollen membranes in the nose and making it easier to breathe, and also helps loosen mucus that has collected in the lungs. Peppermint also contain antiviral properties, that can help stop some viruses in their tracks.
🌿 Marshmallow root is used for sore throat, and cough or cold. It can be taken orally to reduce pain, swelling and congestion. Its antitussive properties and mucilage abilities allow it to decrease irritation of the throat, reduce swelling in the lymph nodes, speed up healing time and reduce aggravating dry coughing. It is known for its moistening benefits which soothe the lining of the throat, coat the lungs, and can help stomach ulcers, and a number of other health concerns.
